Second song I wrote after finishing "Drinks, Dreams & Songs". It's about meeting someone new, and them having some hang ups because of previous relationships. I was trying to convince her that I would "prove her wrong" about men and dating.

You had to know, what you wanted with the wrong person
I guess it's hard to know...
I swear I feel your pain, it isn't fair
how these men will run their hands right through your hair
And call you sweet things, wanting only
the secret loving between your legs
But don't be afraid, oh, there are others
who know how to love before they take...

and I am here, to

On the night we met, you were desperate
I was lonely, God, we were drunk...
So we went alone, stumblin' laughin'
"Just go to the end, and then take a right"
It sounded awful, but we know what happened....
Mostly talkin', and trying to sleep
I didn't take it for granted, your attention
Though you swear you were ready to give up trust

Oh, but I am here, to
